Meet Gwen Tweed,
Photographer

I am a lifelong resident of Beaverton; graduated from Beaverton High School in 1993. My love of art and photography started in high school and I was lucky enough to have wonderful mentors who encouraged me to follow my passion. I started my professional photography journey working in a photography lab, printing, developing and packaging. I had the unique opportunity to work in the professional labs as they made the transition from film to digital photography. From there, I started working behind the camera in 1998 and worked for a professional studio for 8 years before I started my own business.

Lime Light Studio opened May 2006 on Main Street in Gladwin. In 2018 I was able to move the studio to my home in Beaverton. I am so blessed to be able to do what I love in the community that I was raised and have raised my family. Running a business does keep me busy, but I also enjoy horseback riding, bowling, volunteering at the local nursing homes and leading a 4H club.
